Did you know that tuition only accounts for a little more than half of the total funds we need to operate our school? Our parishes cover a little over a quarter of our annual budgetary needs. This leaves us with a financial gap - the difference between the revenue from tuition and parish subsidies and the actual expenses of the school - of more than $1,100 per student.
This $1,100 per student gap is covered through fundraisers and donations from alumni, past and current parents, parishioners, community members and business owners and friends of St. Francis/Holy Ghost Catholic School. Some of the most significant fundraisers include Harvest Fest and the Knights of Columbus Dinner Auction.
Larger gifts including scholarships and memorials are necessary to fund many other projects and initiatives so the SF/HG can maintain its high academic standards and the best facilities possible.
