St. Francis/Holy Ghost Catholic School Board Application

In consideration for submitting a school board application, please note the following: 

  • School Board Members (Elected): The SF/HG School board will consist of nine members from St. Francis and Holy Ghost Parishes. These parishes will have five members from one parish and four members from the other parish, rotating every 4 years.  The Board shall also consist of one member from St. Patrick’s and one member from St. Mary’s Westwoods. 
  • School Board Term: 4 years
  • School Board Eligibility: Registered, practicing Catholic parishioners who are in good standing and able to receive the sacraments, 25 years of age or older, who do not hold a paid position with our school, and who are not the spouse, parent, sibling, or child of an employee at our school. No immediate family (parent, sibling, child, spouse) shall hold a position on the board during the same term. 
  • School Board Meetings: School board meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month, except July, at 6:00 pm. at the St. Francis School site. 
  • Expectations of School Board Members: Attendance at School Board meetings is required. Members are asked to provide constructive feedback and input during meetings and serve on various committees which include Academics, Finance, Long Range Planning, Facilities, and Technology.
